Mite House
Looking for an exciting way to get your child into hockey? Mite House is where it all begins—with real games, real teams, and really big fun!
...AND ENROLLMENT IS OPEN NOW!
🌟 What makes Mite House special?
Our teams play scheduled (optional) games against other local town programs, giving players the thrill of competition in a supportive, low-pressure environment. We try to schedule 5-10 games per team throughout the season. And the season wraps up with the James Cup—a high-energy tournament weekend where teams from area towns come together to celebrate the season with fast-paced hockey and great sportsmanship! 🏆 [Insert link to James Cup]
Each week includes two dynamic practices focused on core skill development using teaching stations, cross-ice games, and weekly scrimmage—keeping players constantly moving, learning, and improving.
We organize 4–6 teams within Mite House, grouped by age and skill level, so every player gets the right balance of challenge and support. It's the perfect way to build confidence, make friends, and fall in love with the game.
Our players hit the ice for:
✅ Games against nearby towns
✅ An epic end-of-season James Cup Tournament 🏆
✅ 2 skill-based practices each week (including scrimmages on Saturday)
✅ Teams grouped by age & skill (4–6 teams total!)
✅ ~4:1 player-to-coach ratio for focused instruction
✅ Preparation for travel hockey—closely aligned with our travel program
✅ Tons of fun, teamwork, and confidence-building!
Whether your child dreams of scoring goals or just wants to be part of a team, Mite House offers the perfect first step.
