After posting five shutouts in five games, Andy Filler's U12A team rolled to the CGHL title in East Haven on Sunday. Congratulations ladies!

Sadly, both PWA and BA lost during their semis on Sunday but not without putting up a good fight.

CHC TOURNEY UPDATES FOR SYHA TEAMS...

Squirt A was knocked out of the Tier 3A tourney by Stamford 3-1 in Sunday morning's semi in Bolton. Simsbury had finished first in the league but had been unable to best Stamford previously, going 0-2-1, and that pattern continued on Sunday.

In other tourney action, Mite A did not advance to the semis of the CHC Patrick Division Tourney despite going 2-1-0 in round robin play. Yale, Southeastern and Simsbury all finished with 2-1 records with Yale and Southeastern advancing under the tiebreaker.

HOCKEY STARS SESSION 4 REGISTRATION OPEN

Dates for session 4 Hockey Stars are as follows:
March 6, 13, 20, 27; April 10, 17, 24 (no April 3 – Easter weekend)

Please note that session 4 of the Hockey Stars program will begin on Saturday, March 6th at 8 a.m. at ISCC (Please arrive at 7:30).

As with previous sessions, before you register online with SYHA, you must register with and obtain a USA Hockey registration number at https://www.usahockeyregistration.com/

I am pleased to announce that Kori Johanson will be serving as co-chair, with Steve Holt, of the Golf Tourney/Dinner/Dance/Auction this spring. Kori and Steve will be putting together a group of individuals to help them with this important event on the SYHA calendar. Those interested in helping out can contact Kori at or Steve at .
